I have been listening to WLUJ almost as long as it has been on the air. I have the radio on in every room so the same sound is on, day and night. It is like Jesus is talking right into my ear. WLUJ is my best friend. If I lost it, I would lose a friend. The word of God is powerful and strengthens me against what is wrong in the world. It encourages, strengthens, and gives me understanding and forgiveness in how to react to the world. When I worked I either carried a radio with me or tapes of what I had prerecorded so I could listen. I love it all and it has variety. When I think or speaks about something to someone then I hear something on during the week for confirmation. I love the music; it is so uplifting. I specifically like “Family Life Today” and I love David Jeremiah. I think it is all great; the news is great. WLUJ almost ministers to me as much as my church. A listener in Taylorville

WLUJ provides general encouragement for me. I primarily listen to “Focus on the Family” and the afternoon programs when I am driving home from work. A listener in Springfield

My husband and I especially enjoy the music. It really speaks to us. We also like the teaching programs, specifically Tony Evans and Chuck Swindoll when they are in the car running around town. We also are more aware of what is going on in town for events that we hear about on WLUJ that may not be in the newspaper. My radios are all on to WLUJ. I listen to one in the kitchen and one in my bedroom. I keep it on all night so when I wake up I hear it, a hymn playing or someone talking.
